Objective

We will discuss how reading is the act of interpreting written communication in order to deepen our understanding about the world and learn about the thoughts and experiences of others as well as ourselves. 


I will choose works from different genres and time periods to engage in a series of assignments to deepen my understanding and critical analysis skills.


Readings

Choose one classic work written before 1900

Choose one contemporary work written within the last 20 years

Choose one poem from any time period that connects with either the classic work or the contemporary work.


ALL READINGS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE TEACHER. Submit on Google Classroom for approval.
